The assembly included all of the non-athletic awards -Crizzley, Idamont, Speech, Play, Student Council, and the swearing-in of thc new Student Body Officers. Mr. Rich, who has finished his final year at MHS, gave a short farewell speech. He was then presented a watch from the Senior Class and Student Body. l00 Mr. Munk presented Crizzley awards to Diane Dalrymple Business Mgr.g and Gladys Clark, Editor.

' Awddd 14 Coach Grant presented small replicas of the Whitman Trophy to Steve Pugmire and Roger Sparks fshown herel. A new trophy presented by Stanley Rich and his son for the athlete with the highest grade point for the previous year was awarded to a Senior, Hal Arnell, by Coach Grant. ln the foreground are the District Football Championship Trophy and the Whitman Trophy. These boys-Gene Widmer, Russell Stuart, Joe Rowsell, Clay Homer, Rodney Wood, Richard Anthony, Spencer Rigby, Allen Bagley, Terry Bateman, and Kenny Wilkes are receiv- ing letters.
