Here, the HDoLolVIars,' par- ticipate at the annual Spring Music Festival in which more than 150 stu- dents take part each year. The mem- ories of the trips to Twin Falls and Boise these students took to music festival in past years, and Aherdeen and Pocatello this year, will long he rememhered. The pep rallies give MHS stu- dents the opportunity to use their lungs in another way. The hall game the following day provides them education in the sports world. Dances at MHS are well attended. They range from Sock Hops to Formals. The seniors and juniors have their Balls. and the freshmen and sophomores sponsor their sport dances. The little happenings around the school during the year are seldom rememhered, such as lyreums or the parade of Hsacksf' hut they luring a smile when the Idamont calls them hack to mind. Activities play a hig part in high school. Some fail to see they are educational. hut they make high school the rememheralmle experience it ls. 87
