CLASS OFFICERS LEFT TO RIGHT: Mrs. Adams, Class Advisorg Barbara Sharpe, Assembly Committeewomang Judy Johnson, Secretary: Jeff Nye, Presidentg Charles Skinner, Vice-Presidentg Bob Moss, Student Representativeg Brent Kunz, Athletic Manager: Mr. Meadors, Class Advisor. FRE HMAN CLASS The Freshman class of '58 containing 103 students started the year by being initiated through big brothers and sisters. Terry Bunn represented our class when he was chosen to be one of the four school cheerleaders. In October Ann Kunz was a candidate from our class competing for F.F.A. Sweetheart. The annual class party was held in the MHS gym, December 14. Entertainment of various kinds such as dancing, volleyball, and basketball was furnished to please everyone's taste. Later chili was served to a very hungry group. Throughout the various semesters Ann Kunz, Jimmy Adams, Jeff Nye, and Wayne Tufts all received straight ones. The Freshmen did not lose one basketball game out of the many played. February 7 the Freshmen presented an assembly entitled Around the World in Song and Dancef' Various kinds of music and dancing were used to carry out certain countries. Much time was spent on scenery and costumes, but after, we all felt it was worth it. To sum up the year's activities the Freshmen took one bus and made their way to Lava. After a refreshing dip they bought lunches, viewed Lava and went bicycle riding. Altogether it was a lot of fun. The Freshman class of this year is one of which we all can be proud.
