September 27, 1952, Montoursville 19, Montgomery 6 Montoursville broke into the win column by de- feating Montgomery. Jim Leathers scored two touch- downs. October 4, 1952, Montoursville 42, XVatsontown 13 Montoursville overpowered Watsontown for its second consecutive West Branch Conference victory. The NVarriors were led by Dick Kaluza who scored three touchdowns. October 11, 1952 - Montoursville 0, Northumberland 34 Montoursville lost to the Norry eleven, who had a much heavier team. October 17, 1952 Montoursville 13, South Williamsport 21 The Wfarriors lost to the rival team, South Side, in a hard-fought game. The Five losses were at the hands of St. joe, Muncy, and Hughesville. The Warriors had a 7-5 record in W'est Branch Play which enabled them to enter the Class B playoffs. Montoursville averaged 61.5 points per game while their opponents averaged 57.2 per game. The Warriors highest scor- ing game was against Watsontown, when they scored 93 points. Emerson Probst was second in scoring in league play with 213 points. The team next year will be without the services of seniors Richard Snyder, Richard Kaluza, and Emerson Probst.
