This is accomplished by promoting a growing appreciation of the joys and satisfactions of home- making, by fostering a development of creative leadership in home and community life, and by furthering an interest in home economics. Its major activities included a formal initiation which was held on December 10 in the cafeteria. A mother and Daughter Banquet has been planned for the spring. At that time a Hobo Day has also been planned. On this day, the members will dress in old clothes and will be on call to do odd jobs around the community for a small fee.
