It is sponsored by Mrs. Mary Hattman. ., ii This club strives to stimulate an appre- ciation of the Culture and literature of 'fit Spanish-speaking countries, and aims to further better understanding of our Latin American neighbors. Le Cercle de Francais The French Club was organized at Montour this year with the purpose of providing French students a greater opportunity to use the French language and to increase their knowl- edge of French people and their customs and history. To be a member of the club, a stu- dent must be enrolled in a second year French class. The meetings are conducted entirely in French. As a newly o-rganized club, the list of activities for this year was limited to guest speakers and viewing slides. Many new and exciting plans are now underway for future years.
