DIVISIO The primary duty of our Medical Department is the care of the sick and injured. However, many additional functions other than sick call and patient care are perform- ed by these Hospital Corps- men. Records administration, sanitation, supply. first uid training, health hygeine. pest control, immunization, X-rays, and prescriptions are ti few sidelines of the men in white. While over- seas, more than 10,000 per- sons were seen or treated by the corpsmen, not to mention medical assistance given to other units and personnel.
