Librarians and Thespians Honored A school without books is no school at all. Without librarians Monticello's stu- dents could not excel. This year the staff decided to say thank you to the students who help to run the library. Mrs. Doherty gave special recognition to Brad Curry. The students are indeed fortunate to have such a competent staff and dedicated stu- dent aides. The Thespian organization is made up of a group of theatrically inclined stu- dents. This year is no change. Several individuals have been chosen to receive special awards for their contribu- tions. To receive these honors a student must have displayed dedication, leader- ship, and exceptional talent. Individuals who are selected possess these impressive traits and contribute a great deal to the choral program. Mr. Wenzel intends to teach his pupils not only to sing well in the chorus but also to understand some ofthe historical background that accompanies the music they sing.
