ational Honor Society The numerous awards included in this section range from individual awards to team accomplishments. The students at Monticello High School have learned that it is not only important to work hard as individuals but to also work as a team. If you put these skills together a student achieves his highest goals. These students have continually proven themselves during their four years in high school and continue to do so. They have been able to do this by using their excep- tional talents and abilities. Additionally, the faculty and advisors devoted many hours oftheir own time and effort to helping the students develop new skills and qualities that led to the various honors and awards. This year Mrs. Mary Lumos was the advisor for the National Honor Society. Her duties and responsibilities were very varied as the group of scholars did many different activities this year. A breakfast was held by the faculty to honor these students during the end of the year. Also, a breakfast was given to those students who made honor or high honor roll. May 9, the Seniors were installed as permanent members ofthe National Hon- or Society. junior and Sophomore mem- bers were given probationary cards. The Seniors who were installed were Krista Conley, Paula Schonert, Denise Snell, Maureen Harshbarger, LaRae Logan, Mary Fatih Feeney, Susan Ramsey, Laura Wack, janet Stoller, josi Rowe, Rhett Suhre,jeff Cavanaugh, Kirk Branch, Mark Shapland, Don Hastings, Craig Lins, Mike Tracy, and jami White. junior members were Trina Costello, Renee Oleson, Paula Glazik, jennifer Wright, Angela Smith, Paul Gibbs, Bob Maxwell, Craig Mackey, Scott Williams, Frank Quinn, and David Lochbaum. Sophomore members were Stacy Thomas, Stacey Collins, Dawn Orr, Kim Crotinger,jennifer Ross, Marc Loch- baum, and jamie Puckett.
