unior , 54 H-'ggi The year of transition! As Juniors we 1, ff- A 91 could look back to our carefree sophomore I 1 11 1' ff days and ahead to the serious senior year. We started to think about what was wait- ing up ahead-what would be around that bend of the road for each of us. Our plan- ning for the future started to take on a new aspect when we realized that next year we'd be facing the reality of the cross- road in life. But our thoughts were not all serious! We were always able to fit into our busy schedules a little time for fun. First came Homecoming-so soon!-with our first class effort being the Junior class float. Debby Rhodes, our class attend- ent, donned a leopard skin to really give a Stone Age atmosphere to our huge dinosaur egg. And for all our work we were awarded second place. On November 17, our class play came off with a big romantic bang with Jenny Kissed Me . Incidentally Jenny lMar- garet White! got around to kissing almost everyone in the cast! After the play cast had settled back into its regular schedule, the class turned to serious thoughts of money-making schemes for the Junior-Senior Prom. Selling Christ- mas cards and tireless work at concession stands after each home game brought our funds to a safe amount. But the work was worth it! Prom was a complete success. Last but not least came those beautiful class rings ! ! Pennies were hoarded until ordering day-then everyone waited in a state of blissful anticipation until - AT LAST ! !
