Interesting as it is, this ECHO cannot include all the excitement of the events of this past year. Yet, it is an excellent pictorial record of buildings, of classes, of traditional observances to be remembered in the years to come. Beautiful as it is, this ECHO cannot describe the warmth of our friendships. Yet, it will evoke memories of shared joys and a deep affection for one another and for Monticello. Put together creatively and sensitively, this ECHO is a paper-and-ink diary not of the days and the weeks, but of the people with whom we shared this time—people who have influenced us for the rest of our lives during this—our wonderful year together.
