nri nt 2 m Jfnmt Campus wm We proudly dedicate our yearbook to a most distinguished alumna, whose loyalty and deep affection for Monticello can only be interpreted in terms of its present strength and future growth. As a member and chairman of the Board of Trustees, as Acting President from June until September of 1966, as friend and benefactor, you have given Monticello leadership and inspiration. Hatheway Hall, a living memorial to your mother, Mrs. Norah Dell Hatheway Whitney, given by you and Mr. Olin is the pride of our campus. In appreciation of the love and devotion you have given Monticello, we dedicate to you the 1967 Echo, Mrs. Spencer T. Olin. 7 Monticello means more to its students than simply a collection of classrooms dominated by teachers and encompassed by walls. It means more than the names Caldwell, Haskell, Hathe-way, Baldwin, or Alden singly or together. It is more than a composite of maturity and youth, blended into gracious traditions and energetic progress. It is what is past, present, future. It is unique. It is all times. This intangible timelessness is what we are attempting to define in the 1967 Echo. 8 i 9 I ■ -■ r. ,1.— 10 (table nf (fomtent Aimtimstrattmi jfarultu :$enin r« Jfri’ehmi'n GDrijamsatimts ArtUutti's 11 x.lrt tu.I j.,U VT,H,AS.yfVv V -VN, n. .u ---—. ...............•__________________________________________ BalbUiin CLnUter - - Afrmimstrattmt anti 19 TT itlrs.
