Georcf. Irwin Rohr hough President of Wonticello College In March, 1935, the mantle of leadership at Monticello College fell upon the shoulders of President Rohrbough. Since that date he has moved forward steadily to carry out the ideals of the college. The passage of one hundred years finds the institution in a world more complex than the sea-faring Captain visualized. It is the fond hope that today as always means will be found to maintain the integrity of the character-building foundations while at the same time insuring that elasticity necessary to meet the needs of each generation. Monticello College faces the future with renewed hope and with a pledge to the world that it will not fail to live up to the trust imposed upon it.
