Our stewordess Margaret Stein, helped us to our seats and intro- duces us to our pilot, Larry Sawyer, and co-pilot, Max Graber. On the plane we met an old classmate, Larry Lewis. He is now a buyer for the Swift Packing Co. When we arrived in Chicago, we took a taxi driven by anotherformer classmate, Bob Geren. We were welcomed into our hotel by the general manager, Alvon Whitman. On our way to our room we bought a newspaper from Johnny lckes, son of Mn and Mrs. Keith lckes, While looking through our paper, we discovered the names of the as- sociate editors, Nancy Shaw and Eloise Seem. lt was nearly supper time, and after a short walk, we found Glenn and GaiI's , an attractive restaurant, owned and operated by Glenn Elder. Afer a good nights rest, we left on a guided tour. Our guide was Bill Connell. Our first stop was at the Stockyards, where we met the President of the Chicago Livestock Ass'n. Ronald Walters, and his secretary Joyce Rogers. Soon after lunch we attended a football game between the Chicago Bears and the Cleveland Browns. After a thrilling game, we talked to coach of the Bears, Arvin Woody Curlis, and two of the players, Hank Schroe- der and Jimi Hummel. We were invited to Coach Curlis' home where we talked over old times with his wife, the former Lois Parsons, and met their children, Chris and Diane. The next morning, being Sunday, we attended church. The service was opened with music by the organist, Nancy Jo Sherman. After the morning worship,we enioyed an anthem from the choir directed by Barbara Johnston. After church we were invited to Nancy Stiger's country home for Sunday dinner. After the meal, we drove through the nearby countryside and observed a house being built on Jan Davies farm by the Omer Swartz Construction Company, with lumber supplied by the Rex Stump Lumber Company. Monday morning we went on a shopping tour, stopping at Marshall FieId's, where Julie Long is a buyer for the Ladies Evening Fashions de- L. R. GOOD AND SON, Bloomdale Elevator, Bloomdale, Ohio.
