ELQSS HISTURQ As we, the Seniors, look back upon all our school years here at M.H.S., we find that the enrollment of our class has changed many times. On our very first day of school, Miss Flory counted 25. She tried to teach us how to behave in school. Well, you see the results. Miss McNary, our second grade teacher, counted us the next year. She found we had decreased to only 18. The next year, our third, Miss Jacobs counted us and found we had again decreased in number to 17. In the fourth grade we again had Miss Jacobs, who, we are glad to say, was promoted too. She counted us once more and recorded a grand total of 16. In our fifth grade we again decreased in number to 15. Mrs. Garner was our very able teacher. Hrs. Garner was again our teacher for our sixth year. She prepared us for Junior High. at last we reached Junior High, rather shyly but surely. Mrs. Johnson was our home room teacher both years. There was an increase here to 19 members. When we entered high school, we were excited, giddy fresh, men. We increased here to 22. 4 Mrs. wallace was our sophomore home room teacher. We decreased here to 21. d In our 'unigr year, Mrs. Kinzey was our home room teacher. There were 22 of us again. This year there are only 17 of us left. Mr. Stevens is our sponsor, and Mr. Chapin is our home room teacher. Those who started together and have been and still are together ere: Francis Adams, Rebecca Heminger, Madge Hedge, Lillian Sherman, Flo Carpenter, and Russell Burton. - By Joanne King 'flip 4- .-A- 5 r..L'-..:-.'...,....l' ,,,sl ' ' fn... .,,.
