The charter was presented to tt by Santa Rosa Hugh School. Mr, Ralph Guyon, Mass Bernnce Parrsh, and Mr. Gene Eastm were lnstrumental rn orgamzung Montgomery CSF and securing the charter. Be' cause of tts late organrzataon, the only planned CSF activity was a trap to the Universrty of Calt- fornia to observe Student Vrsitatron Day. To foster a high standard of scholarship and general attainment on the part of students IS the purpose of CSF, Membershrp in the orgamzatron affords recognltuon for superuor scholarshup whsch othervvrse would go unnotuced. Students are ellgrble for CSF membershlpdf they earn ten points during a semester. An A grade is worth three polnts, and a B, one.
