Some of the major subiects studied by students in Mr. Horace Le- lands physics classes are electronics, sound, light, heat, electricity, and nu- clear physics. An essential part ol train- ing in physics is the development of an alert, inquiring mind and a ready hand, The students learn how to go about solv- ing a problem or about making some- thing that worlcs. They learn to apply the principles of mathematics.
