CFOREWORD For the first time in the history of Montgomery High School the members of the graduating class have sponsored a year book. This book has a two-fold purpose: first, that when the Seniors have graduated and are doing their share of work in a great world, they may find pleasure in looking into this book and may recall the happy events of their high school daysg also that it may establish a precedent for the school in years to come. We are offering this as a heritage to the students who will graduate in the future and are hoping fervently that they will continue it. Page Five

CAVENDISH Principal DEDICATION Since the Autumn of 1936, when we First became acquainted with our principal, Mr. Cavendish, there has grown in our hearts an admiration for one who has worked so loyally for the upbuilding of our school. We feel that this tribute should be paid to Mr. Cavendish, who has filled superbly a responsible position for so many years, therefore, We, the Senior Class affectionately dedicate the first year- book of Montgomery High School to him.
