Education is now a more potent force than ever before in determining the employment capabilities of the individual. So hopefully each and every student has applied his or her best effort in school work. To the graduates of 1979-80, may you continue to uphold ideals of leadership and have strong character to face the many problems you will encounter in later years. Sincerely, Carlton Walton Principal 136 Eagle Staff Dedicates Yearbook Mrs. Betty McLendon We, the yearbook staff of 1979-80, With hearts full of affection and admiration, do dedicate this year- book to our advisor, teacher and friend, MRS. BETTY McLENDON. We are impressed by the people who go out of their way to help us. The lives of almost all MCHS students are touched by her dedication, loyality, helpfulness and teaching excellnce. We depend on her for so many things that we of- ten take it for granted that whatever deadline needs to be met, she will take care of it. We realize that the standard cliche without her it would not be possible” is often overused, but in Mrs. McLendon’s case, the 1979-80 yearbook staff knows that is is perfectly true. We say, thank you for making our stay at MCHS a memorable one. 138 Ms. Ruth Andrews Home Economics I, II Mrs. Edith Barnhill Typing I, II Bookkeeping and Office Practice Mrs. Faye Brewer U.S. History World History Mr. Ronald Brock P.E. But you have to go on living in space and time. And keep the good memories in back of your mind. Here at MCHS we all lost a friend, He was always happy, never sad, He brought laughs to everybody. Precious moments we all had. But the Lord came one day, And took our friend far away. He paid his debts on earth, And now it's time for his rebirth. The time he shared with everyone, Made him special to us all. And no one will forget him, Our wonderful friend Paul. 146 147 Telephone 594-6681 ALTAMAHA FARM SUPPLY “Your Complete Farm Service Center” Purina Chows and Health Aids, IMC Fertilizers, Seeds, Insecticides and Herbicides, Livestock Equipment UVALDA, GEORGIA 30473 Williamson Insulation Service Over 15 Yrs.
