Three classifications of the program included: Distributive Education which dealt with all phases of retail and wholesale servicesg Diversified Occupations which provided vocational training in the skilled and semi- skilled tradesg Office Occupations which offered stu- dents effective and practical preparation for an office career. The businessmen and women who employed these students worked closely with school officials to make the program a learning experience.
