But perhaps the greatest value in the study of math was that the thought processes it developed were of aid in other fields as well as those of a numerical nature. Bulletin board demonstrations help Geometry students to visualize their work.

To keep pace with the recent emphasis upon scientific knowledge, Blair added to its curriculum a two-hour course entitled Advanced Physical Science. In modern, well-equipped laboratories, pupils had the chance to learn by experimentation. The study of science challenged stu- dents to explore the mysteries of the world around them. On lab days, students enjoy the hard work in Chemistry.
