VARSITY WRESTLING SCORES Montgomery's wrestling team was in the iirst division of the West Branch league this year. They had many thrilling moments such as their third place position in the Williamsport Tourna- ment. Two Wrestlers finished first and second in the Williamsport Tournament, they are, respec- tively, Rod Watts and Gary McQuay. Due to the lack of boys out for junior High Wrestling we had to forfeit between 30 and 40 points each match which was too much of a handicap to overcome. There were several boys with line records and one was undefeated. Stan Piirman led the team with a 6-0-I record followed by Denny Miller with a 6-1. Dave Ravert and Larry Walborn each had a 5-2 record. Mr. John Ebner and Mr. Donald Thomas holding the third place trophy won by our wrestlers, Rod Watts, Gary McQuay, jim Ring, Tom Holtzapple, and Gary Taylor, at the Williamsport Tournament. 63
