JUMURE Juniors of 1956-57 under the spon- sorship of Kenneth Kramer, elected Rob- ert Fett, President, Jack Prohaska, Vice-president, and Frances Kuckar, Secretary. 'Laudie and Jack Prohaska and Freder- ick Spoerle played baseball, Catherine Nechvatal was cheer leader, and Everett Knutson student manager of the basket- ball team: Lyle Addison, Frederick Spoerle, Verona Laufenberg, and Esther Zoha participated in forensics. Eleven members took cart in the mixed chorus, nine in girls chorus, and two in band. On February ll, the class as guests attended the Junior-Senior banquet. Robert Fett responded for the Juniors. On April 25 the class put on the Junior Prom in the school auditorium with Robert Fett as our prom king. Don Kaye and his orchestra furnished the nustc, EDPHUMUHE5 We, the Sophomores of 1957, consti- tute the largest class ln the history of this high school. Before the loss of our beloved member, Alvin Yerke, we numbered thirty-four. HHe is not dead, Such souls forever live in boundless measure of the love they g1ve,n we have ten participants in the local contest, and Marguerite Hill has won first place in the Iowa Co. League. We have twenty-two in the band, and in the mixed chorus. Our boys won the intercldss basketball tournament. we have four on the team of nine men and two on the first five. Walter Binius ranks third in individual scoring in the Iowa County League. Our class officers are: President, Donald Novakg Vice-president, Warren Hill, Secretary, Marjory Nowak and Treasurer, Joseph Binius. FREEHNAN On August 51, 1936, we, with fear and trembling, made our entry into the assembly Hall to find ourselves con- fronted at all turns by new or strange customs. Soon we were entertained at a Freshman initiation party at which we were made to feel as fresh and green as our name implied. The height of , ambition had ever been to be classed with the members of the High Schooland now we had at last attained that honor.
