Front Row: Nina Marshall and Elsie Branson. Home Ecqnomics was taught to the 7th grade girls and to the ones in the 9th grade who cared to take it. The 9th grade girls had charge of the cafe- teria for ten weeks during December, Janu- ary and February. The total cafeteria and candy sales amount- ed to about S800 of which S120 was profit. This money was spent for the following: kitchen was re-decorated, a filing cabinet and thirty-six vicko aluminum trays were added to our equipment, ten dollars to athletic assoc- iation for the giirls basket ball suits, magaz- ines, patterns, needles and pins were also bought to use in our labortory. The most interesting problems of the 9th grade were the making of felt hats and a layette for Robert Chas. Reel. The 7th grade enjoyed making their coolie coats and wash dresses. thirty-five
