Foreword The theme CHEERS AND CHALLENGES was selected because we felt that these were the two prime functions of a yearbook . . . praising the ac- complishments of the past and perhaps providing encouragement for the fu- ture. ln an age such as the one in which we live, there are myriad obstacles which must be overcome. Thus far you've done well, but not so well you can't do better. At no time in history has there been more opportunity. Too, there has never been a time when more work was required for achievement. Accept our cheers for the deeds of the pastg and have the courage to accept our challenges for the future: Leave the world better than you found itg and remember your time is short.
