Looking good in practice, however, did not help game matters much as the team posted a one and eleven season record, with the only win coming over Chelsea 18-3. A lot of inexperience played the most im- portant role in this season and in past ones. ‘These are the three worst baseball seasons, back to back | have ever been associated with,’’ comments Gilliam, ‘‘we have only won five games in three years.” Keith Moore was voted as team captain at the conclusion of the sea- son.
