There is much excitement when caps and gowns are issued. Palmer Hall was packed when the Seniors’ big night finally arrived. Class President and Valedictorian welcomed the guests and made some comments on the past, present and future. The class was honored to have Dr. John W. Van Valkenburg as the guest speaker for the spe- cial occasion. A reception in honor of the graduating seniors was held in the High School Auditorium. Here, last good- byes were bid to the Class of 1977.
