One look at the roll call in band and chorus verifies the fact. juniors have participated in octets, trios and many other ensembles. Their solo ability is unexcelled. At the first bounce of the ball announcing the start of basketball season, Stuart Sandberg, jim Brown and -lim Briscoe were eager and willing at turnouts. Several other juniors had to abandon their dreams of personal victories on the maple court because of injuries. But they, along with the lettermen, will have .mother chance next year. Boys who had not turned out for the two previous sports found their chance to shine in baseball and track. jim Brown, Kenny Copeland, Don Murphie. Fred Simp- son and Harold Hopper proved to be very competent baseball men while jim Briscoe represented the juniors on the track squad. The girls of the class were not to be outdone in the field of sports. G.A.CQ. turnouts found them always prompt and ready. At the middle of the year, the juniors sponsored a dance after the Elma game called the Snowtlake Folly. lt featured a unique decoration idea. The guests made the decorations of snowflakes and then were awarded prizes for the best ones. The big event of the year came when the date of the annual junior Prom was announced. lfor the theme of the dance, the juniors chose Realm of Mystery. This name was used to suggest the wondrous aspects of under- the-sea life. The class is credited with much hard work and cooperation in making their Prom a success. Thus approaching the end of their third year. the junior class has a remarkable record to look back on. Their accomplishments are many and their ability yet untapped. In the all important year ahead may their achievements be greater still and their every goal reached through their own initiative. Pixgu Tu mls -Om'
