We hope this will express our appreciation to each and every one of you. Special thanks to Mr. Lloyd who has been our ad- visor for the last four years. We couldn't have had a better one. Also, we would like to give a special thanks to all the coaches and advisors of our extra- curricular activities. Yes — our high school days have come to an end, but we've learned a lot from them. We will be leaving here with many memories: our homecom- ings, parades, parties, dances, proms, and our class trip. We will never forget them. 3 14 Administration Mr. Roger Klug Principal Miss Marvis Schultz Secretary Mrs. Joan Thompson Secretary Mr. Lloyd Rueb Administrator Mrs. Evelyn Metcalf Secretary Mrs. Ardis Olsen Secretary Pat Solie New Librarian Kenneth Mayer 16 Mary Kohl, new art teacher Marilyn Schinke Ann Forbes Sue Maasz I Mary Klug Bob Koch U 1. On Friday, June 2, 1978 at 5:00 , 44 MHS juniors and 7 chaperones left the high school for Florida. By the time we got to Pardeeville, half the supply of pop was gone. (Mary also had some trouble keeping the bathroom door closed.) First stop was at a rest area in Indiana where we got out and ran around the picnic tables. Then we stopped early in the morning at Kentucky for gas and bought out the souvenior shop. Finally, after a long night of playing cards and putting up with Chuck's running up and down the aisles, we stopped in Nashville for breakfast. At 3:00 P.M. we arrived in Perry, Georgia and stayed at Quality Inn. Everybody immediately jumped into the pool. After little sleep that night we headed on to Florida. By 1:30, we stopped at Gainseville, Fla. to eat and shop. At 4:00 we arrived in Walt Disney World, got our rooms and took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Throughout Monday and Tuesday morning, we could do as we pleased which included going to the Magic Kingdom, swimming in the pools and the beach, and just sitting around in the rooms. By 11:30 Tuesday, we were on the road again. We ar- rived at Kissimee, Poincianna Inn and swam till 2:00 that afternoon. The remainder of the afternoon we spent at Sea World where late afternoon we experienced a downpour which we thought was a hurricane. That night at the motel we got prank phone calls from 1 'Agnes'' which kept Mr. Sveum and others up all night. To get revenge we were kept awake on the bus by the music from the Statler Bros. on the way to Cape Kennedy. After a tour of the space center, we went to Howard Johnson's at Cocoa Beach. Remainder of the day we spent by the ocean or by the pool. Late afternoon some of us, (no names mentioned), went grocery shopping at Winn Dixie and brought the cart home with us. We had a beach party that evening and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and ate watermellons donated by the Kochs. Thursday we could do as we pleased including walking a mile to shop where we found out that Sveum's everywhere, or just sun-tan all day. That night some of us went to Fisherman's Wharf to eat and to Sat. Night Fever'' at a draft house where Mick chaperoned. Also, some stayed in their rooms and recooperated from sun bums. Friday was spent at Silver Springs where it rained part of the afternoon. After 7-8 more hours of travel we arrive back at Quality Inn, Perry, Ga. where they have a sign, It's Good To See You Again!'' This was our last night at a motel and certain items of undergarments were found hanging up in Mr. Lloyd's room. We left the morning for Opryland and was a half hour off schedule thanks to Mary and Janet getting lost. After a very long, uncomfortable night on the bus, we stop at Janesville for breakfast at McDonald's. Final arrival in Montello was at 10:30. It's good to be home. 63 65 Whatever Happened To Those Baby Faces??? 1 John Bonardi Craig Cartwright Jerry Calnin Bob Daggett Mary Demiski Chuck Harsh Matt Gorsuch r Linda Hatcher Sally Freitag Roxanne Haley Sharon Heilmeire Laurie Hoffman Gordie Newhouse John Kearns Stacy Kruger Christine Owens Julie Roidt Koreen Klawitter Maureen Metcalf Sharon Petersdorff Mike Shieber Laurie Wagner Mick Werdin Ed Alexander All - Con.
