Math And Drafting The Math department instructed by Mr. Schrab, included courses in Algebra 1 and II based on mathematical ideas and Geometry dealing with the use of induction and intuition. All of these basics are com- bined in Advanced Math, offered to seniors who are college bound. Drafting consisting of Mechanical and Architectual drawing two of the newer courses being taught deals with the funda- mentals of machine parts and a complete set of home plans. Mr. Haase is the in- structor.

Home Economics And Family Living Home Ec is designed for girls inter- ested in the areas of homemaking -- cook- ing, sewing, and child care. The course is taught by Mrs. Berndt. In addition to Home Ec. Family Livingis also being offered this year. This course is available for senior girls interested in studying the various situations encountered in marriage and in raising a family. Advisor Mrs. Berndt, Sandy Smith, Jean Wegenke, Linda Schwochert, Lori Rief, Marci Welke, Sue Stollfus, and Kathy Golz. These seven girls represented the Montello High School Home Ec. Dept, in the 1968 Make It Yourself With Wool Contest.
