Published Annually by the Yearbook Staff MONTELLO HIGH SCHOOL Monteilo, Wisconsin Milltoppers Board of Education Irving Daggett, President Bessie Eggleston, Clerk Albert Stelter, Treasurer Vincent Metcalf Laurence Reif Joan McNamara Howard Sheller These devoted citizens make up the Official School Board of the Montello Public Schools. We feel that they deserve much credit for the way in which they planned, organized, and managed our school affairs in cooperation with the teachers. FOREST LANE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Dedicated November 15, 1964 The dedication of this beautiful new school marked the comple- tion of a long awaited project and the beginning of a new and better aid to education for our children. It is an achievement that every member of our community, both young and old alike, can be proud. We will continue to enjoy the benefits of this school for many years to come and be ever grateful to the people who made this project a success. 2 MR. SHAY High School Principal MR. Whirry z e a c h c r O r h c V e a r Because the Teacher of the Year Award was not announced until the annual staff had begun working, we were not able to place Mr. Whirry's picture on our front page. However, our appreciation for his work is no less. TO A REMARKABLE TEACHER: Through his overwhelming personality and outstanding characteristics, Mr. Whirry became well-liked by his agriculture boys and people every- where. Mr. Whirry is the type of person who would bend over backward to offer his help and advice to anyone. I can remember studying for the Poultry and Egg Contest with Mr. Whirry and the other boys this year. Looking at us he must have thought it impossible to make a winning team out of us. Mr. Whirry has gained popularity by his hard work for the school, community, and state. When working with his students, he finds rewarding experiences and never burdens. I find that when working with Mr. Whirry, he respects you as a student. In closing, I would like to congratulate you. Mr. Whirry, for the award you so well deserve. Mike Solterman The students of Montello High School would like to dedicate this annual to you, Mr. Whirry, for your work with the Student Council, FFA, and ag- riculture boys. We appreciate the extra time and efforts you have freely given the students of Montello High School. 27 Ya wanna dance? ----but I’ll go chasin’ wimen V (I « Soph’ Sextet Christmas r t V Bing! Bang!
