The solo and ensemble contest proved a great success, for the students turned in twenty- nine firsts (including three started ones) sixteen seconds, and only a modest two thirds. We, of Montello. wish to thank Miss Scott for her excellent leadership and direction of the music department, and gratefully extend to her our best wishes in all her future endeavors. 27
