MONTELLO HIGH SCHOOL GRANITE HILLTOPPER Editor.......... Assoc. Ed. . . . Bus. Mgr........ Assoc. Bus. Mgr Advisor......... . Barbara Lammert .... Tom Eckerle . . . . Alice Schinkel .......Judy Metcalf Mr. Malcolm Young our high SCHOOL and As the school term came to a close in the spring of 1955, contractors started the new addition. When we returned in the fall they were still working hard on it, as the sound of drills and saws were often heard in the classrooms. But there was always this to remember, the day when it would be finished. That day wasn't too far away because by January of 1956 we were happilyusing the new locker and shower rooms. The new band room has more room and the special practicing rooms are being put to good use by the members. The music department and senior class were first to find how much more convenient the en- larged stage is. Mr. Whirry and his classes have al- so moved into the new addition. The Ag. Department now has a newclassroom and a much larger Ag. shop. 2 3 SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS Left to Right: William Bartlett, Henry Orienti, Herb Scharen- berg.
