HA IE NO NIS (MUSIC MAKERS) The High School Band is lead by Grace Zellmer, drum majorette. The majorettes are led by Mary Atkinson, head majorette. F rom left to right are: Janice Aldrich, junior; Pat Knickerbocker, sophomore; Mary Atkinson, senior; Grace Zell- mer, senior; Carol Bliefnick, junior; Janice Maynard, senior. The strut- ting and twirling of the majorettes added color and appearance to the High School Band and made it more exciting for the spectators. The majorettes participated in the Music Festival at Wild Rose. They also led the band in the Fall Festival at Montello. Row 1: Barbara Lammert, Pat Kusick, Marolyn Smart. Row 2: Verna Sheller, Jelaine Doepke, Catherine Warrack, Jonn Whirry. Colleen Foley. Jackie McAtee. Row 3: Karen Sheller, Nancy Thompson. David Orienti. Miss Scott, Director; Janice Maynard. Jack Steinhaus and Barbara Lammert, singing a Class C alto and bass duet this year at the Music Festival Connie Hersey and Mary Atkinson are again singing a Class B duet at the Festival. They received a second last year in Class B. RAINMAKERS” The Mixed Quartet, picked this year by Miss Doreen Scott, gave their first performance at the Senior Class Play. They have since sung at the Mid - Winter Concert, Mother's Club, F.F.A. Chapter Farmer's Ceremony, Christmas Talent Show, Band Boosters, Music Festival and Graduation. It consists of Front Row; Connie Hersey. Barbara Lammert, Back Row; Jon Steinhaus and Tom Eckerle. QUARTER NOTES” The Girls Quartet is from left to right; Pat Kusick, Sharon Robinson. Jackie McAfee, and Judy Metcalf. Under the direction of Miss Doreen Scott, they too madethetheir first performance at the Senior Class Play. They also have sung at the Farmer’s Institute, Mid-Winter Concert, Christmas Talent Show, Music Festival and Band Boosters. MELODETTES” 24
