Those participating were as follows: Extemporaneous Reading: Nancy Whir- ry, Vivian Hall, Phyllis Czeskleba, and Florence Steinhaus, , Extemporaneous Speaking: Frank Danner and Duane Kemnitz; Oratory: Marlin Zellmer and Jack Steinhaus; Serious: Mary Mc- Mahon, Marion Ingraham, Dorothy Schinkel, and Diane Campion; Original Oratory: Donna Toepper; Four Minute Speech: Donald Blada and Edward Scharenberg; Humorous: Leah Roberts, Sharon Buchholz, Patsy Nindorf, Mary K. Wilson, Betty Bliefnick, Alice Schinkel, Kel- ly Campion, Angeline Kelm, and Bob Schinkel. Those who participated in the Montello dis- trict contest were: Nancy Whirry, Florence Steinhaus, Frank Danner, Duane Kemnitz, Mar- lin Zellmer, Jock Steinhaus, Mary McMahon, Dorothy Schinkel, Leah Roberts, Bob Schinkel, Donna Toepper, Donald Blada, and Edward Scharenberg. We had five A's from our district contest: Florence Steinhaus, Bobby Schinkel, Donna Toepper, Jack Steinhaus, and Donald Blada. They went to Stevens Point the twenty-eighth of March. Bobby Schinkel and Donna Toepper came home with A's. They'll go to Madison to represent our school on April 11. We all wish them good luck.
