Those participating were as follows: Extemporaneous Reading: Nancy Whir- ry, Vivian Hall, Phyllis Czeskleba, and Florence Steinhaus, , Extemporaneous Speaking: Frank Danner and Duane Kemnitz; Oratory: Marlin Zellmer and Jack Steinhaus; Serious: Mary Mc- Mahon, Marion Ingraham, Dorothy Schinkel, and Diane Campion; Original Oratory: Donna Toepper; Four Minute Speech: Donald Blada and Edward Scharenberg; Humorous: Leah Roberts, Sharon Buchholz, Patsy Nindorf, Mary K. Wilson, Betty Bliefnick, Alice Schinkel, Kel- ly Campion, Angeline Kelm, and Bob Schinkel. Those who participated in the Montello dis- trict contest were: Nancy Whirry, Florence Steinhaus, Frank Danner, Duane Kemnitz, Mar- lin Zellmer, Jock Steinhaus, Mary McMahon, Dorothy Schinkel, Leah Roberts, Bob Schinkel, Donna Toepper, Donald Blada, and Edward Scharenberg. We had five A's from our district contest: Florence Steinhaus, Bobby Schinkel, Donna Toepper, Jack Steinhaus, and Donald Blada. They went to Stevens Point the twenty-eighth of March. Bobby Schinkel and Donna Toepper came home with A's. They'll go to Madison to represent our school on April 11. We all wish them good luck.

OFFICERS ROW 1: Pot McMahon, Dorothy Weiske, Janis Robinson, Jac- quelin Kiger. ROW 2: Dorothy Utke, Janice Maynard, Norma Scharenberg, Bette Gardner. . . . rf. Our club met with 39 members at the beginning of this year, with Miss Gibbons as our adviser. These girls were choosen as officers: Janis Robinson, Presi- dent, Dorothy Weiske, Vice-President; Jacqueline Kiger, Secretary; Pot McMahon, Treasurer; Janice Maynard, Song leader, Bette Rae Gardner, Reporter; Dorothy Utke, Parlimentarian; and Norma Scharenberg, His- torian. Our Chapter Mother was Mrs. Bruno lam- mert. In November Miss Gibbons resigned and we found Mrs. Anna Dahlke taking her place on our faculty. November 13 all the girls attended the FHA Rally at Oxford High School. We sponsored a Mother's Tea on February 12 for all the girls' moms. The District Demonstrations were held at Cambria in March. A few of our girls took part in it. During the summer, we sent three girls to the conven- tion at Green lake. They were: Bette Rae Gardner, Dorothy Utke, and Jacqueline Kiger.
