STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is composed of the three officers from each class with Mr. Kiger as its adviser. Its purpose is to dis- cuss the problems of the student body. ONE-ACT PLAY On November 3, four schools — Adams Friendship, Port Edwards, Westfield, and Montello — competed in the district one- act play contest held at Westfield. The State Farmers of 1952 were Bob Cotter. Orlond Buchholz, and John Furman. The officers for this year include: president. Dale Sfeinhaus; vice-president. Bob Schinkel; secretary, Ralph Buchholz; treas- urer, James Noprollo; reporter, John Bandt; sentinel, Don Utke; and adviser, Mr. Whirry. The Farm Management Teom composed of Bob Cotter, John Furman, Bill Bettin, and Orlond Buchholz, as alternate, received first place in the state contest. For their efforts they received o free trip to the International Livestock Show at Chicago. The Soil Judging Team composed of Howard Zellmer, James North, Donald Blada, and Ronald Blada, as alternate, received first place in the district contest at Wautoma. They received a trophy for their work. The Poultry Judging Team composed of Dole Steinhaus, Bill Barron, Ralph Buchholz, and James Noprollo, os alternate, re- ceived fifth place in the State contest at Madison. Bob Schinkel, our F.F.A. speaker, received first place in the district contest.
