“PEOPLE ARE FUNNY” The senior class play, “People Are Funny un- der the direction of Miss Lucille Tosch, was adap- ted from Art Linkletter’s comedy program, People Are Funny . The play really gets under way when Art sends Roscoe Higginbottam, a hy young man, to make a date with Betty Vernon whom he has never seen before. What he doesn't know is that Betty has received a series of strange gifts such as a collapsible chair and a mule. STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is composed of the three officers from each class with Mr. Kiger as its adviser. Its purpose is to dis- cuss the problems of the student body. ONE-ACT PLAY On November 3, four schools — Adams Friendship, Port Edwards, Westfield, and Montello — competed in the district one- act play contest held at Westfield.
