0 0 0 Under the able direction of Mr. Charles Week, the band has progressed rapidly. This year we played between halves at football and basketball games. We led the Homecoming Parade and the Fall Festival Parade. We also played at the annual Christmas party. The annual musicale was presented on Feb- ruary 23 for parents and friends. Another concert is planned to be held in the spring. Members of the band took part in the solo and ensemble contest at Plainfield the 18th of April. On May 2, the entire band will participate in the Music Festival. Last year at the Wautoma Music Festival, we received the following ratings in Class C: First in marching and third in concert and sight reading. They met once a week, on Tuesday. At mony of the assemblies the chorus entertained the student body, capably assisted by accom- panist, Carolyn Smart. The Junior Chorus consisted of Freshmen and Sophomore girls. Many of the girls will be members of the Senior Chorus next year.
