However, we lost Bernice Swaney during the first semester. We received our class rings on December 19. Our most important social event of the year was, of course, the Junior Prom. It was held on April 24, featuring Harold Farron and his orches- tra. Our King, Gordon Werdin, and Queen, Betty Bliefnick, led the Grand March to the melody of our theme song, The Lovliest Night of the Year. Page 12
