Kiger CLASS SEAL VICE PRESIDENT Robert Cotter SECRETARY-TREASURER Paul Shurpit FLOWER Sweet Pea COLORS Green and Silver t In the fall of 1948, thirty-nine new faces appeared in Montello High School.The frightening event for us was initiation. We felt as though we belonged here in the fall of 1949 and we enjoyed our turn at initiating the greenhorns. Our big event in our Junior year was the prom. King George Thomp- son and Queen June Kelm lead the grand march to music played by Tony Winters and his orchestra. Moonlight and Roses was the theme for the rose bedecked gymnasium. Also in our junior year we flashed shiny new class rings. Then our senior year came and twenty-three of us still remained to graduate together. Senior Skip Day and the Senior Class Play were the outstanding events of our final year. Those four happy years seemed to rush past, but we will all remem- ber and cherish them.
