Our initiation took place October 13, 1950. We girls in our pa’s pants, shirts, and overshoes and boys cute in their bibs, bonnets, and bows humbly bowed before last year’s frosh. Band You can still hear the sound of horns and the beat of drums at Montello High. Under our new director, Mr. Vogt, we are progressing rapidly. We’ve played for basketball games and the Farmers’ Institute, but our first appearance with uniform and all — occurred the night of the Senior Class Play. The band will participate in a music festival at Westfield, May 5. A musicale will be held for parents and friends in May. Representatives of our music department re- ceived the following awards at the Music Fes- tival at Port Edwards last spring: M.H.S. Band ........ M.H.S. Band ........ Girls’ Double Trio ..
