S. in September brought forty-seven students to be enrolled as freshmen. We were sufficiently welcomed, (We think), when the sophomores took over our ini- tiation on September 29. The girls wore their dresses inside out with socks and shoes that didn’t match, while the boys came with ribbons in their hair, wearing their mother’s stockings and their trousers rolled up to their knees. To show we held no grudges, we gave the Sopho- mores a return party on November 10.

SOPHOMORE CLASS When school resumed this year 38 of the original 43 members of our class returned. At our initiation party, September 29, the girls looked stunning with their dresses reversed and wearing pigtails and the boys were just as at- tractive with their knee length trousers and long hose. Sophomores usually aren't too active, ex- cept in sports and music, but be on the lookout for news about us next year.
