Marjorie Wilson Lil............Marilyn Gorsuch Peggy............. Ida Hersey The Bad Penny was the play chosen by our director, Miss Peplinski. The elim- ination contest between the two casts was PENNY held October 22. The cast mentioned above was chosen to represent the school. On Monday evening, November 3, at Montello the play entered the Dis- trict Contest against Westfield and En- deavor. The Bad Penny was awarded first place and entitled to go to Stevens Point on November 10. At the Point we received a B rating.

SENIOR CLASS PLAY The Inner Willy , a comedy in three acts, was presented by the Senior Class under the direction of Miss Ruth Peplin- ski. Willoughby Adams was continually domineered by his three maiden aunts. He had resided with them since childhood and acquiring no will power of his own, Inner Willy steps into the picture to help Willoughby assert himself. It isn't an easy undertaking for Inner Willy, but after many strange occurrences and provoca- tions there are surprising results, and Wil- loughby takes Carol, his secret love during high school, to the graduation dance. CAST OF CHARACTERS Willoughby Adams, 16, a well behaved likeable boy............Lester Meiller Aunt Hester, 63, maiden aunt............................... Blanche Metcalf Aunt Louise, 61, maiden aunt .......................... Imelda Schlaefer Aunt Olga, 59, maiden aunt............................. Mary Ann Weiske Inner Willy, Willoughby's inner self ....................... Walter Edler Stanley Clark, 16, inclined to be a little tough............ Robert Draeger Mike, 16, bashful, but a regular guy .......................... Darwin Bell Marybelle Turner, 16, the girl next door......................Joyce West Trudy Marshall, 16, twin sister .............................. Joan Neale Judy Marshall, 16, twin sister.................................Jean Neale Carol Martin, 16, the girl Willoughby secretly admires....Corrine Werdin
