BOYS' CHORUS The Boys' Chorus consists of 22 mem- bers this year, our second year of organi- zation. We sang for the Christmas Party and for the Senior Class Play, under the direction of Miss Bernice Scobie. Our of- ficers are Gradon Arendsee, president; Tom Cotter, vice president; Dave Schim- mel, secretary-treasurer. MIXED CHORUS Our Mixed Chorus is a newly organ- ized group in Montello High. Due to the absence of Bob Metcalf, Edward Buch- holz acted as vice president. The club's chief activities this year were the annual Game Feed and Christmas Party. A major accomplishment of the chapter this year was the awarding of the Wisconsin Farm- er degree to four graduates of the Chap- ter. These members were Fred Cartwight, Vernon Dahlke, Tom Furman, and Mau- rice Kearns. Maurice was also the winner of the $50.00 Achievement Award. QUARTET Our Quartet received second place in the contest at Prince- ton February 24, 1948. Kenneth Soda, our public speaker, won third place in the contest.
