Such as serving for the hot lunches that were given from December to March. We also served at the teacher’s banquet which was given in the early fall. One of the events of the year was a F.F.A. Game Feed at which all the F.H.A. girls did their part to prepare and serve the meal. The Senior girls have all done their part for helping the Red Cross. They each knitted sev- eral twelve inch squares to make an afghan. During the first semester the Sophomores and Juniors studied the principles of cooking and worked in the kitchen. The Seniors and Fresh- men were studying design, color, and clothing construction. Now that we have entered the second semester this plan is just vice versa, except that the Seniors are still sewing. The ob- ject of the class is to work for the good of the school and the surrounding community and to increase the desirable, mental, and social activities of the school.
