In college he was vice- president of Sigma Tau Gamma, and a member of the Inter- Fraternity Council. He was in the Air Force. 5 Mrs. Janet Wood Home Economics Mrs. WVood was born in La Habra, Califor- nia and a t t e n d e d Whittier High School and Lxmllege, majoring in physical and gener- al education. This is her 15th year at MHS. -S if I Mrs. Leona Farfhing School Nurse Mrs. Farthing was a teacher for two years before she decided to take up medicine. She has been the school nurse at Montebello for eighteen years. In summer she is a hos- pital supervisor. if Mr. Richard Reese Physical Education Mr. Reese was horn ui San Pedro and attend- ed school there. He majored in physical education at IVhittier College. His hobbies in c l u tl e refinishing furniture and garden- ing. Mr. Waller Trasin Auto Shop Mr. Trasin attended U C L A, majoring in education. He has al- so worked as a drafts- man and Machinist. Mrs. Dorothy Kay Liffle Permanent substitute After attending a small college in NVis- consin, Mrs. Little went to Northwestrn University and USC. until recently, she did mersonnel work. Her lmobhy is the Little hlilflv. 73' if 3' Mr. H erberf Roesener Music XViIson High School, XVhittier College, and USC are Mr. Roesen- er's alma maters. In 1949 he was a mem- ber of NVho's XVho in American Colleges and Universities . Mu- sic is his hobby. She belonged to many organizations and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Miss Marion Renshaw Librarian Miss Renshaw, a ua- tive of Iowa, attended University of Oregon, UC at Berkeley, and U S C , majoring in English. She has acted in the capacity of li- brarian at MHS for many years.
