As our enrollment increases, as our compus is enlarged and new facilities are added, as our curriculum is expand- ed, there is a constant desire on the part of students and faculty to bring new honors to MHS. These achieve- ments in scholarship, in sports, in the arts, in vocational training and in the general management of student body affairs a1'e an inspiration to each class group to gain distinction, and in so doing to make a better school which all may honor. ,KX 'Q ,ytjl , fv ft 25' Lift ljfffrf J' 114 qw ff ,,l,lg, f Q, ,M .lf .fy .4 kllll iffy J J ,n ll ski x Il , if xl ljll If f' Xl Jn . yn, My - dxf' fi ,ft- 't , -- f ,Ut PM jj , Z . The new pool, new shops, new girl's physical education facilities, and the addition to the music room are physical evidence that we are getting larger. Each year the number of students grows. Important though as these physical changes are, the ad- ministration fosters and is aware of the more important growth each stu- dent makes through his associations and his attendance at this school. It is most interesting and gratifying to be a part of this great activity. 7f4eEg 5, -ff T: ,A hz, C32

vi, 'iff' One of the most interesting ex- periences to happen to me is to have had the opportunity to work with the fine Student Body, Fac- ulty and splendid P.T.A. board of Montebello Senior High School. We have endeavored to interest parents by having parent repre- sentatives, under the direction of our grade level chairman, call each parent to invite him to our Coffee Hours and association meetings. Coffee Hours were held for each grade level with our principal and counselors explaining the courses of study, clubs, music programs, and activities of your high school. Your association also voted to sponsor a graduation party for the senior class. YVith this planned program we hope to have brought the school and home closer together.
