This year GROWTH has been expressed in every aspect of school life here at Montebello High School. We have grown physically in the addition of shop classes, extension of our pres- ent band room, a newly-located girls, gymna- sium and sportsfield, including the latest in sports equipment, and our double swimming championship, Inglewood tournament and was victorious in placing second in CIF com- petition. I Keeping this in mind, this year's staff thought it propitious to incorporate Growth', as the theme for the 1956 Colden Key. May the following pages recreate for you your days 5 pool.
