rincilaa Throughout the yea r the entire student body has shown their interest and enthusiasm by the traditions that have been originated this year. Faculty, parents, and community have placed their trust in you. the student body, by appropriating the funds of the 54,000,000 school bond election. Oilers have become so tradition-conscious that I'm sure future Standards will be set by this year's work. The origination of Ollie Oiler in stuffed and real-life forms, a victory pennant to be flown after varsity wins. and the zeal with which the student body backed-up the football team only helped heighten the excite- ment of gaining both the varsity and the cross-country championships. The honors, scholarships, and trophies bestowed upon MHS students this year have been many. Bring- ing fame to MHS by representing us in the Tourna- ment of Roses, parade was our band and marching groups of girls. High praise must go to the student government leaders, letterrnen, yell leaders, flag twirl- ers, song leaders, and every participant in school activ- ities of any kind.
